The mission of the Hobe Sound Community Chest, Inc. is to promote the social and educational wellbeing of the entire community by funding programs and initiatives serving Hobe Sound residents in need.

Strategic Initiatives
The Chest has a history of funding unique projects outside of the annual grants process. These notable and exciting initiatives include increasing kindergarten readiness, purchasing land for affordable housing, creating an after-school program and renovating an early learning center.

We fund over 40 social services, supporting the Hobe Sound community at large.
An elderly woman arrived at Caring Children, Clothing Children, distraught. She had just received custody of her granddaughter, who had special needs due to her mother’s drug addiction during pregnancy. The grandmother quit her job to care for the little girl and had limited resources. To her great relief, 4Cs was able supply the child with clothing, books and other necessary personal items.
